Red hot chilli peppers - under the bridge

I was 13... I think! (1991) very impressionable.
This song reminds me of sitting on a bench in Chumleigh, smoking & listening to some older girls singing the lyrics to this song and thinking where have they heard this song or is it something they have made up together!!
We used to do random things like make up songs! it was so fucking boring in the middle of no where, the only things we had to do was smoke, drink (mainly cider) and sing random songs... oh and a little bit of the obvious things that teenagers do ;-)
The acoustic version is the way (as I remember) we used to do it after a few cider's.

Purple Rain-Prince

An obvious choice really... how predictable of me!

Madonna 'stay' b side to 'like a virgin'

I actually liked this better than 'like a virgin' it sounds really funny now listening back to it.
Something I haven't done since I was about 10 tho! I used to listen to it on a 45!!

Bob Marley died from a malignant melanoma, a form of cancer, that was on his right toe. He could've avoided death with amputation, but it was against his Rastafari beliefs. The cancer spread.

"Bob Marley played his final concert at the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 23, 1980. The live version of "Redemption Song" on Songs of Freedom was recorded at this show. Marley afterwards sought medical help from Munich specialist Josef Issels, but his cancer had already progressed to the terminal stage. While flying home from Germany to Jamaica for his final days, Marley became ill, and landed in Miami for immediate medical attention. He died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami, Florida on the morning of May 11, 1981 at the age of 36.
